Join us for the 5th Annual Miles for Music 20k, 5k, and 1 mile event
Sunday March 20, 2016
The Raritan Valley Road Runners are proud to be the host running club of Miles for Music, organized by club members Anne and Joel Simpson to raise money for school music programs. Their hard work as race directors has made this race a huge success for the running community and for local schools.
The 20k is the first USATF Team Championship race in 2016, for all divisions, as it has been since the very first Miles for Music 20k in 2011. This means we need to have as many people as possible running for RVRR because, as the home team, we want to field as many teams in as many categories as possible – find out more about running for our teams by clicking here. There you can find out about what you need to do to be able to run on our teams, and find out who your team captain is if you have any questions.
Volunteers are important to the success at any of our events, so if you are unable to run, please consider helping on race day – click here to find out about volunteering at Miles for Music. Volunteering at events is valuable to the club in terms of promoting membership, and often races will donate to the club, all of which means we can keep our membership rates low.
We will post information about course preview runs closer to the date, so check back here and look out for information on social media and in the weekly club eblast.
